Hey y'all, by joining an Eric Wainaina forum am assuming y'all have good taste in music so in this thread lets share music tastes i.e. if you hear something you think is fresh and should be heard by everyone else hala and let us know whats good out there!

Brilliant idea!
Within Eric's genre there's loads of good stuff that ya can find out about just by going to Club A, cos he gets all his friends to play there with him...
basically if you go to sternsmusic.com and search Kenya there's a lotta good stuff on there like Chizi and Harry Kimani
I have other genres I like as well but they're a lot rougher than Wainy...so yeah

If you ask me about unheard talent,i'd point you to one PHATT up coming band called Gogo Simo...You can find them jammin at Books First@ Prestige(Nakumatt Ngong Road).They are quite versatile and play from Zilizopendwa to jazz. They also have some original material that is quite tasteful...Check it out when you have the time and anyway since entrance is free, you have nothing to lose:-)

The other day I heard a song by Necessary noise and Reshmonu called it's you that matters, Bamzi is on it so am assuming its from way back when but dang it's a tyt track!! It's got a norman brown meets street rap kinda feel to it, good stuff!

I agree Gogosimo is also an awesome band. They are at psys langata Rd on Thursdays and at Tamasha on sundays
